I subscribed to Job Clerk only three weeks ago, and today I have two new job offers! I honestly cannot thank you enough.

I never imagined that I would receive offers from hospitals such as Guy’s and St Thomas’ and Chelsea and Westminster, especially in such a short space of time. I am incredibly grateful.

The system you have created with the Job Clerk notifications is absolutely brilliant. I had been applying for jobs at these hospitals for almost two years, but I could never understand what I was doing wrong or why I wasn’t getting the results I hoped for. Everything changed when a friend introduced me to your website and showed me the Job Clerk notifications.

Two of my friends have also successfully found jobs through these notifications, which gave me the confidence to try it myself. Today I thanked my friend for introducing me to Job Clerk, but I realised that the biggest thank you should really go to the person who had the idea to create this system and actually made it happen.

In just three weeks, something I had been trying to achieve for nearly two years finally happened.

I genuinely couldn’t be happier with my experience. Thank you so much for creating such an incredibly useful service and for making such a positive difference to my career. I would absolutely recommend Job Clerk to anyone looking for their next NHS job!

I have been applying since April without any sense or direction, just blind applications. I came across job clerk in mid- June and had just finished observership at London and was high on motivation, so I immediately subscribed to it’s WhatsApp alerts subscription, with customised tone to it’s chat, so I wouldn’t miss it. It took me from 1-2 applications per day to atleast 5-6 per day. It gave me perspective on how to apply too. Come mid July I had two interviews and offer from both.

Highly recommend to this service from job clerk. It was deal breaker in getting interviews.

Within 20-25 days of consistently applying, I’ve been shortlisted for 3 interviews & got 1 job offer.

I have NHS experience & applying on time helped me secure interviews within a short period of time.

I’d used Job clerk almost a year ago, and it helped me land my 1st NHS role.

The newly added WhatsApp notification feature is a game changer to apply for jobs whilst working or studying as it notifies when the job is published.

I've just accepted an offer from the NHS and want to share my interview experiences. Job Clerk's webinars were quite handy on how to structure my CV and write a good personal statement. They even offered a free review of my CV which was really helpful. Their free notification system also helped me immensely to make sure I don't miss anything. It's just something that helped me a lot in securing this position.

FAQ

Job Clerk in 10 Questions

Clear answers to the questions people ask before relying on Job Clerk for their NHS job search.

01What is Job Clerk?
Job Clerk is a UK NHS, healthcare and social care job search and alert tool. It brings roles from the main health recruitment platforms into one place, then helps you track jobs, get alerts, and prepare stronger applications.
02How is Job Clerk different from NHS Jobs or Trac?
Job Clerk does not replace the official job boards or employer recruitment systems. It watches NHS Jobs, Trac, NHS Scotland, and HSCNI together, so you can search across NHS trusts, health boards, primary care, independent healthcare and social care employers in one place.
03Where do the job listings come from?
Listings come from publicly advertised healthcare roles on NHS Jobs, Trac, NHS Scotland, and HSCNI, including NHS and selected non-NHS health and care employers that publish through those routes. Each listing links back to the official application route, so your final application is always submitted through the employer's recruitment system.
04How quickly do new jobs and alerts appear?
Job Clerk checks the source platforms every few minutes. Matching roles can be sent by WhatsApp within seconds, and email digests go out daily at 6 pm. The official employer still controls when a vacancy opens or closes.
05How do WhatsApp job alerts work?
Create a saved job filter, add your WhatsApp number, and confirm the verification message. Once verified, Job Clerk sends a WhatsApp alert when a new role matches your saved preferences.
06Can international doctors and nurses use Job Clerk?
Yes. Many users search from outside the UK. Job Clerk can help you find relevant NHS and healthcare roles, but it does not provide visa sponsorship itself. Always check the official advert for sponsorship, registration, and right-to-work requirements.
07Does Job Clerk apply for jobs or guarantee interviews?
No. Job Clerk helps you find roles earlier, organize your search, and prepare application materials. You still decide which roles to apply for, submit through the official employer website, and remain responsible for your application.
08What is included in a paid subscription?
A paid subscription includes real-time WhatsApp alerts, a daily email digest, search across major UK health recruitment sources, AI personal statements, CPD courses, and clinical attachment email reveals.
09How does the AI supporting statement tool work?
The AI tool uses the job advert, person specification, and your own experience to draft a tailored supporting statement. Treat it as a first draft: check the facts, add your examples, and make sure it sounds like you before submitting.
10Where do I get help with payment, activation, or WhatsApp verification?
Email hello@jobclerk.com from the address on your account. Include what you were trying to do, the time of payment or verification, and any error message, so support can trace the issue quickly.
