Support Services Assistant – Integrated Services

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

There are various posts and hours available across various GGC sites.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

You will undertake the cleaning of patient areas, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices and administration areas to comply with national standards of cleanliness, provide patient catering, patient laundering, patients housekeeping, curtain changing and porter/messenger services within various health care environments including Mental Health wards

As part of the role you will have a lot of contact with patients so good communication skills are essential.

Training will be provided including 3 days induction at West Glasgow ACH, Dalnair Street Glasgow prior to commencement of role
