The shift pattern for this position is Rotational Shift Pattern – 9am-5pm.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced First Level Registered Nurse to join the Enhanced Drug Treatment Service incorporating some outreach. The service provides Diamorphine Assisted Treatment to individuals who have complex needs and have a history of limited engagement with traditional drug and alcohol services. Whilst the outreach element of the role offers an assertive outreach model of contact and engagement with high-risk individuals within Glasgow City Centre. The post holder will have the opportunity to work across both areas of the service. We are seeking individuals with previous experience of working within a drug or alcohol setting or services that provide support to people with drug or alcohol issues. The role will involve working within a challenging but rewarding environment with people who have complex health and social needs. As a Senior Addiction Nurse, the post holder will work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team, provide supervision and support to junior staff but will also be a supportive resource for individuals who attend the service. The service operates 0900hrs-1700hrs, 365 days per year (including Public Holidays).
