Income Accountant

Job overview

Reporting directly to the Income and Contracts Manager and responsible for:

• Supporting the Income and Contracts Manager and other Officers of the Trust in the negotiation of clinical service and support contracts for services provided and received from CCG’s and other bodies
• Leads and co-ordinates the accounting, monitoring, forecasting and reconciliation of Income associated with contracted and non-contracted clinical services
• Ensures that the requirements for internal and external reporting are met and risks associated with contract performance are highlighted.
• Leads the provision of financial advice to Research and Development and ensures that the financial systems supporting the Research and Development activities of the Trust are fit for purpose.
• Assists the Overseas team with pricing and tariff queries
