BAND 7 District Nurse Team Leader – 37.5 HOURS

BASE:  Ashgrove

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced District Nurse to apply for the demanding role of District Nurse Team Leader.

Main duties of the job

The applicant must be a Registered Nurse in possession of their SPQ qualification. Additionally candidates must either hold or be actively pursuing a Masters qualification. The successful applicant will manage and lead a very busy team of District Nurses ensuring the seamless and safe delivery of 24/7 District Nursing care to a large caseload of acute and chronically ill patients. There is a minimum requirement for a highly flexible and enthusiastic approach to this challenging role as well as an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.

The post is initially based in the Ashgrove  District Nursing Team based in dewi sant Hospital , although the post-holder may be required to work across both Rhondda and Taff Localities to meet the needs of the Service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
