Job overview

**This vacancy will close once sufficient applications have been received so please apply soon if interested**

We are looking to expand our Clinical Coding Staff Bank and invite Accredited Clinical Coders to join our pool of bank coders, who support our full-time substantive team during periods of staffing shortfalls.

Our Clinical Coding Staff Bankers take on ad-hoc, flexible hours to assist the core team. These hours can be worked during the day, evening, or on weekends, with no minimum commitment required. This makes the role ideal for fitting around other work or life commitments. You’ll have the flexibility to choose hours that suit your schedule, in agreement with the Clinical Coding & Data Quality Manager.

All work can be completed remotely from home. However, there is also the option to work onsite at the Trust if preferred.

If you are an Accredited Clinical Coder and are interested in joining the LWH Clinical Coding Staff Bank, please apply and provide details of your coding experience in the supporting information section of your application. While experience in coding gynaecology, maternity, and neonatal specialties is preferred, it is not essential.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual or telephone interview to assess their suitability before being formally added to the staff bank.

We welcome any inquiries about this role. Please reach out via email in the first instance.
