Job overview

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without direction and supervision.

Demonstrate and supervise practice and procedures to registered and unregistered nursing staff to secure effective nursing practice. And take a key role in the induction and mentorship of new and unregistered staff, and provide supervision.

We are a service that currently supports Primary and Secondary care in the provision of Intravenous therapy in a clinic and community setting. We are integral in supporting the prevention of admission and early discharge, and offer a service that is holistic and person-centred.

Main duties of the job

The Acute Response Team is currently offering  career opportunities for qualified nurses within Primary Community Intermediate Care (PCIC) Clinical Board. There are extensive learning and development opportunities for all nurses within the service, including specialist community nursing qualifications, wound and palliative care qualifications.
