Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient-Centric Care: Engage directly with patients and their carers, offering vital support and information while ensuring a high standard of care.
• Collaborative Excellence: Work alongside clinical oncologists, physicists, radiographers, and clerical staff, contributing your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Operational Leadership: In the Band 7’s absence, manage the treatment unit independently, consulting with the Clinical Operations Manager as needed to maintain a safe, effective operation.
• Professional Accountability: Uphold the highest standards of practice as outlined by the Society of Radiographers Professional Code of Conduct.
