Job overview

Are you a qualified Nurse looking for a new challenge? Home first is the ideal outcome for many patients leaving hospital, but a temporary stay in a setting that is a homely environment that can provide 24-hour care is sometimes required. The Community care beds facilitate early discharge from hospital and reduces hospital admissions. The CCB service delivers complex care whilst empowering patients as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. We will work with you to develop your own personal developmental plan that supports your learning style. We provide training, clinical supervision and access to a peer support network. We won't just stop there though, we are proud of our career progression pathways that will allow you to develop your clinical, leadership and preceptorship skills. Flexible working opportunities are available as we understand that we all have busy lives.

Community nursing in the care beds suits people who can work independently and within the wider multi-disciplinary team. You'll be resilient, motivated, and adaptable to working in an ever-changing environment and of course, a passion for providing the best possible care. You will have great communication skills and maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures. You will ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
