We have highly rewarding opportunities to join our multidisciplinary inpatient team. We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for older adult mental health and a commitment in providing high quality care.
The service consists of two inpatient wards.
The team at Newhaven are friendly, supportive and exceptionally caring, putting patient care at the heart of the work we do to improve health care outcomes and service delivery.
We can offer up to 37.5 hours a week. Our working patterns are 3-4 long days/ night (07:30-20:00/19:30-08:00) across a four-week period including weekends and bank holidays.

Act as a role model to colleagues, seeking the highest standards of professionalism. Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients. Assess the care needs of individual patients and then develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for them. Lead a team of nurses in the provision of care to a named group of patients. Provide leadership to the team of nurses in their charge, supervising, monitoring, supporting and educating them in good professional and clinical practices.Assist in maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring patients individuality and privacy are maintained at all times. Maintain confidentialityDemonstrate effective handover and communication of care Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all Trust policies and procedures. Adhere to the NMC code of Professional Conduct.
