Exciting opportunities have arisen for four suitably qualified Speech and Language Therapists to join the forward thinking and super friendly Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Teams in the Pennine locality.  We cover the Burnley and Pendle, Blackburn with Darwen and Hyndburn Ribble Valley Rossendale areas of Lancashire.

Main duties of the job

We are committed to improving the communication skills of children and young people, while supporting carers and other professionals to increase their ability to understand and support children with communication needs. The 3 Teams consist of SLTs and OTs working together.

The Children’s Speech & Language Therapy teams provide high quality services to children with speech, language and communication difficulties across the locality. We work in a variety of locations, including clinics, children’s own homes, nurseries and schools.  We work closely with families and with colleagues in health, education and social care and you must have excellent communication skills to support these relationships
