Central London Community Heath NHS Trust is responsible for delivering West Hertfordshire Community adult services since October 2019.  We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled colleagues as we build on existing models of care and introduce new ways of working. Our transformation plans over the next 12 months will include further agile working. We are based in a newly refurbished site in BRE, Brickett Wood. Would you like to be at the forefront of delivering new models of care through transformation that meets the needs of the population?

This role will involve the successful candidate working in a bedded neurological rehabilitation unit with patients post stroke and ABI with a range of medical aetiologies and disorders of swallowing and communication, including voice.  Dysphagia competencies are a requirement of the role and experience of managing dysphagia is essential.  Working with mixed caseloads means you will significantly extend your knowledge and expertise in the field of acquired speech, language and swallowing disorders.

Main duties of the job

You will be joining a dedicated, supportive and friendly team of 11 Speech and Language Therapists and 1 Administrator.

Working as part of a dynamic SLT team.

Working autonomously in the bedded unit.

Providing assessment, treatment and working as part of MDT.

Supervising NQTs and students.
