My Name is Damian Madden and Im the Service Manager for NHS Kirklees Talking Therapies.
We are excited to welcome applications for a new full time Specialist Psychotherapist to work across Kirklees to offer supervision and support to qualified and trainee psychotherapists in the service.
You will liaise with external stakeholders and monitor the effectiveness of internal pathways to ensure compliance with KPIs.
It is essential you hold both a specialist professional psychological qualification and accreditation, you must be able to demonstrate experience of clinical leadership and delivering service improvement within a primary care psychological therapies service and have substantial experience of delivering clinical supervision.

The team you will provide clinical leadership for provides NICE compliant psychological therapy incorporating CBT, Counselling and Guided Self Help to clients in primary care across Kirklees. This is an 8-8 service Monday to Friday, and we offer sessions either by Microsoft Teams, telephone or face to face.
We hold clinics both in Trust premises and also in primary care settings across the area to ensure that were, as much as possible, nearby for the people that use the service.
We treat clients with common mental health problems such as depression or anxiety disorders like Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD, PTSD, social phobia or body dysmorphic disorder.
