An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MSK/Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Team at STSFT.
We are looking for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within our established and experienced Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic service. The role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to rotate in key Orthopaedic/MSK clinical areas, including IP Orthopaedics, Outpatient Gymnasium - including work in specialist services and in other Outpatient MSK services.
The focus of this post is the clinical management of a varied caseload including acute post-surgical orthopaedic conditions, acute and chronic spinal conditions and inpatient elective/trauma patients. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with proven clinical expertise and advanced clinical reasoning skills to excel and help provide care to the local population.
With support from the Clinical Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of staff and the activity of patients to ensure a safe and high-quality service. You will be supported to provide expert assessment and person-centred treatment; applying a problem-solving approach and best practice defined by research and standards to clinical practice.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to grow and progress in their career both clinically and non-clinically. There is a strong commitment to continuing professional development and you will be able to develop clinical, research, teaching and leadership skills.
