To work as part of a multidisciplinary team that undertakes specialised cross sectional imaging procedures at a consistently high technical level and professional standard.
Work in line with service need and within professional scope of practice. You will represent the imaging department at all times, leading, supporting and coordinating service provision as required. Participate in regular clinical audit and quality assurance testing to promote the continuous improvement in service delivery and quality within imaging.
Perform MRI and CT scans on Paediatric patients to produce high quality diagnostic images.
Demonstrate levels of responsibility and initiative whilst supervising recently qualified radiographers, support workers and students.
Assess, prioritise and organise own workload within assigned area of work.
Follow policies, procedures and protocols relating to and underpinning the radiology service in line with guidance from Royal College of Radiologists and College of Radiographers
Required to participate in a 24/7 on-call provision as rostered including weekends and bank holidays.
Be responsible for own CPD, and professional and personal development.
