The Directorate of Perioperative Medicine is going through some exciting changes to support the highest quality of care to our patients and we want you on our team. This is an exciting time to join Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

This post is open to both NMC registered Nurses and HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioners. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate health care professional who possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to motivate and negotiate and is passionate about perioperative care.

Main duties of the job

Wirral University Teaching Hospital is seeking to recruit perioperative leaders of the future to join the directorate of perioperative medicine leadership team. Our 22 operating theatres are across three sites delivering a wide variety of specialism to patients of the Wirral Peninsula and beyond.

We are looking to find motivated, experienced  ODPs Nurse who want to develop into the next leaders. The Senior Theatre Nurse/ODP will provide visible leadership within the clinical area of responsibility and wider teams supporting the patients perioperative pathway.
