Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse medical prescriber who is keen to support to the ADHD branch of the neurodevelopmental team within the children and young person's service (ages 6-18years).

The Neurodevelopmental Service opened its doors in 2022 and as a service we are keen to use the latest research and guidance to provide a high quality approach to supporting need, diagnostic assessments and medication support.

The post holder will work closely with the ADHD Clinical Lead and general manager as the service continues to develop and evolve.

Main duties of the job

The role involves supporting the development of the ADHD branch of the service whilst facilitating ADHD diagnostic assessments, ADHD medication prescribing and providing clinical guidance to young people and care givers around meeting identified need

The role also involves utilising leadership skills to support the transformation of the service and staff development.
