Senior Clinical Fellow in Adult Medical Dermatology

Nodal Point - 4 - £61,825 p.a excl. of LZ (pro rata)

Main duties of the job

Applications are invited for this fixed term 1-year appointment due to commence in June 2025.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for a committed enthusiastic individual wishing to gain subspecialty training and clinical experience in adult medical dermatology. You will join our large multidisciplinary medical dermatology team working in bespoke dermatology facilities in the heart of St. John’s with major responsibility for people with severe inflammatory and blistering skin disease.

You will have completed or be nearing completion of your CCT and wish to gain expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex skin disease including eczema, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and immunobullous disease, and optimised use of biologic and other immunomodulatory therapies.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You must be fully registered with the GMC and hold Licence to Practise and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.

The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Criminal Records Bureau to check for any previous criminal convictions.
