Within the Laboratory we currently use Winpath Enterprise, Abbot HQ's,  CellaVision, Werfen TOPs and G11's. We are currently completing the implementation of all the platforms employed within blood sciences and a GLP track.

Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS), one of the first NHS pathology networks to be established in 1998, is now one of the largest in the country. We are driven to provide a patient centred service which provides safe, high quality, clinically led diagnostics.

BSPS is a contractual joint venture between Ashford &St. Peter’s Hospitals, Frimley Health (Wexham Park & Frimley Park Hospitals), Royal Berkshire, Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts, and  Surrey and Sussex Healthcare.

Main duties of the job

You will use your knowledge and skill  to ensure a robust and fully operational system within the Haematology department. You will look for new opportunities to get the best from the team and successfully implement changes required to ensure the system delivers the desired patient focused service.

We want our staff to have a great experience working with us so they are truly happy to recommend Frimley Health as a good place to work. We expect all staff to treat colleagues as they would wish to be treated themselves.

You will be based at Frimley Park Hospital, and may be required at times to travel to the other sites in the Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Network.
