Job overview

The RNENT & ED Hospitals (UCLH) are recruiting a specialist audiologist for a permanent full-time post (37.5 hours per week) split over a 4-day working week.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work in the Adult Hearing Aid Department at The RNENT & ED Hospitals (2 days a week), Edgware Community & Finchley Memorial Hospitals (2 days a week). The post consists predominantly of working with adults requiring assessment, fitting, verification and adjustment of hearing aids.

Main duties of the job

You will see a variety of complex and non-complex patients and will be an excellent opportunity for a qualified audiologist wanting to gain further experience in this renowned centre of excellence and gather additional knowledge in the field of rehabilitation.

The department has undergone a lot of change in the last few years and so we are looking for an individual who not only has patient care at the forefront of their mind but is also adaptable and flexible.

You will have a BSc in Audiology or BAAT parts 1&2, BTEC in MPPM & must have voluntary registration with AHCS (formally RCCP).
