Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Administration Assistant to work within The Hull and East Riding looked after children's CAMHS service. You will be expected to be flexible and work in a fast paced and highly demanding environment . As part of the Senior Administration Assistant role you will oversee  administration assistants and complete work of a more complex nature given by the team.

Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and have the ability to display a high standard of communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Applicants should be self-motivated and a committed team player with the ability to work individually. The ability to maintain a calm, resilient, positive and flexible approach to your work is essential, as is the ability to use initiative when dealing with unexpected situations.

Main duties of the job

Duties include typing letters for the the service,  ensuring that the orders and receipting of Stock is completed effectively, and supervising less experienced staff. The inputting of confidential data on our electronic patient record, arranging and minuting of meetings and general administrative work.

Dealing with emotive and complex telephone calls and requests for support in a timely manner, using effective de-escalation and communication skills.
