We have 5 Clinical Care Groups, each with a Care Group Director and Senior Leadership Quad (SLT).  We are seeking to recruit a 12-month fixed term (maternity cover) for our Rotherham Care Group Director.

You will have day-to-day responsibility for everything within the Care Group, developing the Directorate leadership and leading the Senior Leadership Team.  This role is part of the wider Clinical Leadership Executive which influences the wider Trust decision making.  You will be a good partner; work well with others; a community and patient advocate and seek to collectively making a difference.   We are looking for a colleague who is strongly focused on improving care, expects and strives for excellent performance and a track record of delivery.

Main duties of the job

This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is accountable for the day-to-day delivery of effective and safe clinical services across all the Care Groups.  In this role you will join a team with the other four Care Group Director colleagues and the Deputy Chief Operating Officer. We are implementing an exciting Trust wide senior leadership development programme focused on delivering in communities, which you will be part of.

The North Lincolnshire Care Group Director provides leadership to all the clinical services within the Care Group, and Trust wide leadership for Talking Therapies.  They are working as a member of the Senior Operational team to develop and implement strategies and operational policies to ensure the provision of safe, effective, accessible and timely clinical services. You will be responsible and accountable, along with the Care Group SLT, and Care Group Directorates for proactive delivery of the key targets for Quality & Safety, Performance, Finance and People. This is alongside the delivery of the 28 Promises to bring about the change required. The postholder will also be a key RDaSH representative for Place meetings such as with the Place Partnerships as well leading on the work with other providers and commissioners within Place.
