Job overview

We're inviting passionate individuals to join our team as a Rotational Assistant Technical Officer (ATO).

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively in both Pharmacy Stores and Pharmacy Dispensary, experiencing a diverse range of tasks that will keep your job engaging and fulfilling.

If you thrive in a role that offers variety, we want to hear from you! We are committed to fostering a culture of training and development, encouraging applications from those without an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Pharmacy Services as well as those that already have achieved the qualification.

Candidates who don't possess the NVQ/QCF Level 2 will be entered into the department through an Apprentice training position, with the expectation of progressing into ATO roles. If you are a successful candidate without the NVQ/QCF Level 2 Pharmacy Services, you will be supported to achieve this whilst working in the role.

Ideal candidates should be patient-focused, eager to learn, hardworking, and capable of handling pressure during busy periods. While prior experience in a pharmacy is advantageous, it is not essential. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective pharmacy services, aligning with the Trust's Values and Behaviours.

If you're interested in a fulfilling career in hospital pharmacy and want more information or to explore the opportunities, feel free to get in touch.
