This is an exciting opportunity for two nurses to join the Acute Research Delivery Team (ARDT) as Research Nurses at Salford Care Organisation.
You will be delivering clinical trials across the Trauma and Emergency Care and Critical Care Portfolio's and therefore evidence of proven experience within one of these areas is desirable.
The ARDT works a 5 day extended hours service. This post is for three years, on a fixed term position for one qualified nurse.
Some of your key responsibilities will likely include:
Screening and recruiting eligible participants
Educating participants about the study and obtaining informed consent
Collecting and recording study data accurately, in accordance with GCP
Administering interventions and treatments as per the study protocol
Monitoring participants safety and reporting adverse events
Ensuring that study documentation is maintained and stored securely
To be successful in this role, you need to have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, be organised and detail orientated.
It is desirable to have prior experience in clinical research setting, but it is not essential.
