Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to recruit a research assistant to support a randomised controlled trial of the Community Navigator Programme: an innovative social intervention aiming to reduce loneliness and increase social connections for adults with depression in secondary mental health care.
The post holder's work base will be in University College London, where the study lead and trial manager work.
The posts will involve working with participating mental health services in Camden and Islington, and Barnet Enfield and Haringey NHS Trusts. The posts will involve participant follow up visits with study participants, data collection (through structured interviews), and data entry and management.
These post offer an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to develop their research skills and work within a clinical environment. The successful applicants will have good research skills and some previous research experience in a mental health context, excellent organisational skills, and understanding of mental ill health and mental health services.
