We are looking for an enthusiastic radiographer to manage and supervise the accreditation process for the department, carrying out the required management and leadership tasks to support the department’s continued Quality Standard for Imaging accreditation. The candidate will be responsible for managing complaints to the radiology department and will need excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
- To be the main point of contact for the accreditation process
- To act as risk and complaints manager for the Diagnostic imaging department. To maintain oversight of risk events and complaints ensuring timescales for investigations and actions are met.
- To lead in the development and advancement of the department’s quality agenda, emphasising the implementation of evidence-based knowledge into practice
- Ensure the department audit schedule is maintained and followed. Identify audit projects as required and ensure audit recommendations are implemented where necessary
- To oversee the department’s controlled documents, ensuring the documents are regularly reviewed and updated.

Lead on the investigation of Risk events, and ensure appropriate feedback and learning for staff
- Be responsible for managing complaints for the department, both investigating and producing appropriate replies. The post holder must also be responsible for ensuring learning points are highlighted to leads as appropriate Represent the department / trust at local, regional, and national level to disseminate developments in QSI accreditation and develop clinical network Contribute to and participate in planning and policy formulation for quality management
