The role will be based in the West Yorkshire area we have positions in Bradford on a full-time contract working 37.5hrs per week or on a bank zero hour contract. At times you may work on your own, or sometimes as part of a double crew transporting a wide range of patients across Yorkshire and Humberside.

Main duties of the job

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is committed to Equality and Diversity, with a range of occupational health and support services available to all staff.

You will support patients, their carers and healthcare representatives, transporting them on journeys to and from healthcare appointments, and helping hospitals discharge patients when they are fit enough to leave a hospital setting.

You must be able to consider each patient as an individual and meet a wide variety of communication and other needs.

Most importantly, you will need to be polite, professional, and eager to make the patients experience a pleasant one.

The Trust operates a formal program of ongoing staff development, with training opportunities and offers good opportunities for career progression.
