An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the Dietetic services at Frimley Park Hospital as one of the Principal Dietitians.

The trust is undergoing much transformation and we are looking for the right candidate to continue to develop outpatient and community services and take a proactive approach to care.

You will be a proactive member of the team with a passion for leadership and service improvement and will be tasked with ensuring that all therapy pathways are effective and efficient, ensuring best possible patient care is provided at the best possible time in the best environment.

This is an exciting time for the Therapies services across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and as well as your role within the department, you will be a senior member of the Therapies team.

You will be supported by a strong team of colleagues at 8a level and a strong Therapies senior team and will work with the Head of Dietetics/SLT/Podiatry to develop new ways of working and align with the trust and directorate strategic ambitions.

To be responsible for the operational management of the community and outpatient services within the Dietetics Department, reporting directly to the Head of service (in conjunction with other band 8a's in dietetics).

Use skilled clinical reasoning to provide expert specialist support and advice regarding complex clinical presentations.

Manage clinical governance issues.

Provide strategic direction for the service.

Line management.

We also provide outpatient, Diabetes and Home enteral feeding services to the local community. The community team working out of Frimley Park Hospital covers Surrey Heath and North East Hants and Farnham. Outpatient teams are present at Frimley Park Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital and also work from satellite sites and remotely.

As well as the operational management of the service, you will be expected to undertake some clinical work; the exact nature of which will depend on your skills and previous experience.
