Principal Cardiac Scientist - Head of Department
We are looking to recruit a new head of the Cardiac department to replace the previous post holder who has left the post for a new developmental opportunity.

Based in the city of Truro, the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust provides comprehensive healthcare to the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Truro itself has excellent schools and colleges and easy access to both Falmouth and Plymouth Universities. The A30 trunk road has been much improved over the last 5 years; there is a good rail service through the county and an excellent airport service from Newquay to many cities throughout the UK and abroad.

The post-holder will be directly responsible for all aspects of the Cardiac Science Service, providing the technical, managerial leadership and clinical expertise to the Specialist team in all area of cardiac physiology. Delivering all aspects of staffing, quality control, budgetary management, and effective day to day delivery of the cardiac science services for Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and partner organisations.
