PHYSIOTHERAPY

ASSISTANT (BAND 3)  MSK

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

We are looking for a caring and committed individual to become part of our Physiotherapy MSK Out Patient Team

This is a fundamental role within our service , and in order to fulfill it, you must be a team player who is enthusiastic and dedicated to delivering high quality treatment to patients in an out-patient setting.

Although this post is  at Clitheroe Community Hospital you may be required to work at any clinical area within the East  Lancs Hospital Trust IMPReS Service according to service need.

The work is varied and you will provide general assistance to physiotherapists in the outpatient department. You will support work to aid the clinical management and rehabilitation of patients and carry your own case load with supervision

You will  maintain an orderly environment that meets all infection control and governance standards, and lead the departments compliance with trust infection control policies. Including housekeeping ,cleaning, tiding, maintenance of equipment and stock control.

This role may  include some administration duties including on reception , electronic patient record keeping, organizing appointments, registration of patient details, data collection and audit information.

You must be able to understand and comply with detailed procedures and instructions and possess good communication skills,  verbal, written and electronic.

Flexibility, good time management skills, organisational skills and self-motivation are also essential.
