An exciting opportunity has risen for a People Relations Advisor to work within People Relations function at East London Foundation Trust supporting Specialist Services.

The People Relations Team supports and provides specialist advice to all categories of staff and managers in all aspects of employee relations case work.

Key areas of activity include to be a point of contact for Managers and employees, providing sound advice and assistance on people issues. Working in partnership with managers providing advice, education, and coaching on all aspects of employee relations issues in accordance with policies, procedures, and best practice, escalating issues where appropriate. Post holder will also be responsible for delivering training to up-skill managers.

The successful applicant will have Level 5 CIPD or a post graduate diploma in Human resource management and have relevant experience of recent generalist HR experience in a large complex organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid HR administration skills who is experienced at providing first line HR support to managers on a wide range of employment issues. Main duties of the job

1.1 To provide a full range of comprehensive and professional People and Culture services within nominated Directorates in order to achieve excellent standards of service quality. 1.2 To provide customer focused HR Advice to managers and staff on a range of HR services include employee relations issues, the management of sickness absence, employment law, Compliance and pay and conditions of service. professional registration body website for renewals, fixed term contracts, processing DBS, visa re-checks for current staff, attending onsite surgeries and administering all stages dealing appropriately and confidentially, updating ESR accordingly and raising queries with others when required. 1.4 Support sickness absence management procedures across NEL vaccination centre staff and Medical Staffing staff with ELFT, providing support and assistance to managers on a consistent approach to manage sickness absence at all stages 1.5 To build and maintain credible and productive relationships by working in partnership with the Senior Management Team, Operational Managers, all employees, People and Culture colleagues and Staff Side Representatives.
