Our Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards  are dedicated to the delivery of high quality  complex health nursing care. You will work as part of a highly motivated teams on Ward I5 or Ward F6, who care for patients in the acute phase of their hospital stay.  Ward I5 is our fractured neck of femur ward and provides all care for these patients directly admitted from the Accident and Emergency Department. Ward F6 is our subacute ward that provides trauma patients with ongoing care whilst they remain in the hospital before discharge home or to an intermediate care facility.

Main duties of the job

Experience of working in teams is essential. We are also seeking outstanding personal qualities such as self-motivation, communication skills and a professional aptitude to work. Having pride in providing a high standard of nursing care and supporting vulnerable adults in complex and distressing situations is essential. An ability to manage busy and challenging situations and working under pressure is also required.
