We are looking for a motivated, dynamic person, with a genuine interest in liver disease to join the Hepatology team. The successful candidate will be part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Hepatology Nursing Team and will be based at North Devon District Hospital. Training will be provided which will initially be at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, therefore willingness to travel is essential. Continued peer support is essential to this role and as a team we are committed to provide this.

The successful candidate must have an interest in delivering high quality, evidence-based care to patients with chronic liver conditions in both the hospital and community settings. Although team working is key, the successful candidate will be expected to work independently and without direct supervision, prioritising workload in a variety of clinical settings to meet the fluctuating demands of this role.

You must be self-motivating, enthusiastic, organised, computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to continued personal development. As a member of the multi-disciplinary Hepatology team, the post holder will provide nursing expertise related to liver disease to colleagues across the Trust and community. We encourage a learning environment in the team and offer support with on-going training to develop within the role. There will be many opportunities to develop and progress your career through personal and professional development opportunities. Ideally you will have a background of hepatology nursing, however the Trust is prepared to develop and train a suitable high quality individual.

Our vision is to provide safe, high quality seamless services delivered with courtesy and respect.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
