We are seeking to appoint a Named Nurse to join our Senior Safeguarding team who will be instrumental in providing strategic safeguarding direction across our Organisation.

This is an exciting post and offers the opportunity for an individual with demonstrable leadership and a vision for safeguarding and Children in Care. This position is for a professional who is passionate about the health and well-being for all children and who wants to work in partnership to improve health inequalities and outcomes for the children and families that we serve.

As part of the Senior Safeguarding team, you will work with senior managers, Named and Designated professional colleagues both internally and within the local health economy contributing to Warrington Safeguarding Partnership subgroups and working closely with partners in key agencies to ensure that the needs of children and young people are paramount.

The successful candidate will lead and manage Warrington Safeguarding Children and CIC teams.

They will be responsible for ensuring that Bridgewater practitioners working in Warrington have access to safeguarding training at a level appropriate to their role and responsibilities as well as access to safeguarding advice, support and supervision.

They will lead the Trusts contribution to multi agency safeguarding arrangements in Warrington supporting the work of Warrington safeguarding partnership and its subgroups. Ensuring that as a Trust we are fully engaged with any child safeguarding practice reviews, multi-agency audit activity, the development and delivery of multi-agency training,

They will take the lead on preparation and collation of all evidence required to support quarterly quality schedule submissions including the completion of a range of single agency audits and preparation of annual reports for safeguarding and CIC.

Work closely with the Director and Heads of Safeguarding and the Named Nurse for Safeguarding and Children in Care in Halton to ensure that safeguarding is firmly embedded across the organisation.
