An opportunity has arisen in Muirton ward, Seafield hospital, Buckie for a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to join a team working with older adults who are experiencing mental ill health.  You will be responsible for an in-patient unit of patients with organic illness. You will provide line management, clinical supervision and professional leadership to nursing staff.

This is an exciting opportunity at a time of continuing quality improvement and innovation to join the team. This post requires vision, innovative practice development, the ability to work across professional boundaries and a real desire to provide the highest standards of patient care.

You should possess sound clinical knowledge and you should possess good interpersonal skills and a commitment to joint working and development of innovative service redesign. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development, be highly organised and have good IT skills. Moray is a beautiful part of Scotland which offers excellent quality of life in a rural setting. It has plentiful outdoor pursuits, affordable housing and a strong sense of community.
