Band 6 - £39,912 to £48,635 pro rata

Plus £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata

29.7 Hours per Week

Medical ward 2 is a 16 bedded general medical ward comprising of acute adult medicine, stroke and 4 bedded acute medical assessment unit. Erisort Ward is a 16 bedded Respiratory unit.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic charge nurse who will have:

*   The ability to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice.

*   The ability to facilitate and manage change within the clinical environment.

*   Commitment to the delivery of evidence based care.

*   Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a flexible team orientated  approach.

*   Provide nursing leadership and expertise and contribute to the education, training and support of fellow health professionals.

*   Provide clinical and operational support to the SCN.

This post will require Day/Night Rotation.
