Main duties of the job
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize ambulances after each use to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Stock ambulances with necessary medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are readily available for emergency situations
- Inspect and maintain ambulance equipment, including oxygen tanks, defibrillators, and stretchers, to ensure they are functioning properly
- Keep accurate records of all supplies and equipment in ambulances, monitoring and replenishing as needed
- Follow strict protocols and procedures to handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them appropriately
- Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth handover of incoming and outgoing ambulances
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the ambulance garage and storage areas

Requirements
- No Experience necessary, full training provided!
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Valid C1 driver's licence – This is essential to enable you the ability to drive the emergency service vehicles at Make Ready Sites
- A basic DBS check will be required for the role – this will be actioned by Churchill
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays -
- Shift start times are typically 6am or 6pm - shifts can vary 12, 8 or 6 hours
- Either Full Time 40.5 week or zero hours contract to provide cover Sickness and Holiday.
