Job overview

The department is looking for 1 Locum Consultant Anaesthetist to join our busy anaesthetic department for an initial 12 month contract.  The successful candidate will hold the FRCA or equivalent.  We welcome applications from motivated individuals keen to invest in the development of our services, particularly in Acute Pain, and who will contribute to a positive departmental culture.

The anaesthetic department are known for working cohesively and supporting one another not only in the clinical setting but physically and emotionally too.

Main duties of the job

These are 10 PA posts and have a 1;16 on-call commitment.

A formal Job Plan will be agreed between the Appointee and the Clinical Director on behalf of the Medical Director.
