Bramshaw ward at Princess Ann Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Junior sister. We embrace innovative thinking here on Bramshaw ward and are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to come and work with our friendly and supportive team.  The Princess Anne has 4 theatres undertaking obstetrics, gynaecology and breast surgery, and Bramshaw ward is in charge of providing the best care for these patients after their procedure. We also act as an emergency admissions unit for gynaecology and pregnancy up to 20 weeks.

We are looking for: •    Candidates who are energetic and forward thinking  •    Have the ability to manage a team and demonstrate sound, innovative leadership styles and skills for the ever-evolving environment  •    Excellent communication, decision-making and motivation skills  •    Able to demonstrate continuing professional development and a strong commitment to developing others  You will be expected to: •    be responsible for assisting the ward manager in the management of the department over a 24 hour period •    ensure high standards of patient care are maintained acting as a credible role model and patients advocate at all times •    adhere to the NMC professional code of conduct as the framework for nursing practice.
