The role is crucial in establishing and maintaining operational IPC assurance processes.
This is a fixed term secondment for maternity cover.
In this post, you will be an integral member of the well-established Worcester Acute Hospitals Trust Infection Prevention & Control Team, providing a service for all sites of Worcester Acute Hospitals Trust.
You will play a key role in the delivery of the trust Infection Prevention & Control improvement plan, and the focus of your role will be to provide Infection Prevention & Control support for the Trust.
Your duties will include; patient reviews, undertaking audit, surveillance, education and supporting campaigns. Alongside this you will be guiding and supporting clinical staff on Infection Prevention and Control guidelines and policies, therefore promoting safe, quality, patient centred care. You will be committed to quality improvement, engaging with patients and staff and have the ability to translate guidance and strategy into changes of care.
