Due to an internal promotion and the development of a community diagnostic centre, Nottingham University Hospitals Trust are currently looking for two Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologists to join our fast paced, BSE accredited department. As a highly specialised physiologist your main duties will be the provision of high quality echo studies ranging from standard TTE to advanced techniques such as stress echo and contrast studies.
You will also play an active role in the training program at NUH, providing quality practical and theoretical teaching to junior team members and clinical colleagues.
As a band 7 physiologist you will assist the echo lead and non invasive manager in daily management of the team and act as a role model for colleagues.
This is a Trust wide post and the successful candidate will be expected to work at both our hospitals and the Nottingham CDC. You will also be required to participate in the provision of the out of hours emergency echo service across both sites.
Providing basic and advanced transthoracic echo reports to a high standard.
Training of junior team members and clinicians.
Experience in a range of diagnostics is desirable in order for you to support and advise colleagues when required.
