We are seeking health care assistants to join our vibrant team in the I&PC Directorate. Join us to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures whilst being provided with opportunities to experience a wide range of clinical specialties, including Neurosciences, Neurosurgery, Craniofacial, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Renal, haematology, oncology, immunology and bone marrow transplant.
Our patients vary in complexity and acuity, ranging from day case to high dependency care hence you will develop an impressive repertoire of clinical and leadership skills.
Once here, you will be allocated a mentor as well as provided with support from an inhouse education team. These staff will work alongside you, where required, helping you gain competence and confidence. You will have the opportunity to take part in bespoke developmental programs, including options, if you wish, to rotate across all areas/specialties within I&PC.

The post holder will work as part of the wider health care team in providing high quality and compassionate care to the child/young people/young person and family and will carry out clinical and non-clinical duties that your manager and other registered health practitioners delegate to you, in line with relevant standards, policies and protocols as required.
