Job summary

Are you looking for a career opportunity where you can make a real difference? This is an exciting time to join the Emergency Department Team in Worcester as we are currently planning for our move to a new purpose built building.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our team, supporting the clinical team with delivering a high standard of care for any patient that attends the department.

The successful applicant should be prepared to work either 0700 - 1930 and 1900 - 0730 shifts. Hours are given on a rota basis up to 3 months in advance.

Main duties of the job

  • To assist with the maintenance of patient hygiene.
  • Assist with feeding patients.
  • Assist with patients' elimination needs
  • Additional aspects of care
  • Excellent empathy and communication is required
  • Maintenance and cleaning of department equipment and surroundings
