Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking specialist nurse to join our Health Advisor/ Clinical Nurse Specialist team. This is a developmental role, offering full support to complete comprehensive training in all aspects of sexual health within a two-year timescale.

Based in Slough, we are a busy level 3 sexual health service, with additional satellite clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, and Bracknell and we operate Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift every 4 to 6 weeks.

Given the sensitive nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are open-minded, non-judgmental, and capable of working in a highly confidential environment. Previous experience in family planning or sexual health within a GUM setting is desirable.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll have access to excellent training opportunities, including non-medical prescriber training.

Every day is different, with a variety of cases including STI testing and treatment, HIV care, and contraception services therefore offering you a chance to grow and refine your skills.

We also prioritise our employee’s wellbeing, offering some of the best resources to support you. Our Trust values diversity and fosters an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.
