Whilst the post is based at the Flatts Lane Centre in Middlesbrough, the trust is currently offering hybrid working across all roles, with an expectation that a maximum 60% is spent home working.
Working with the Director of Finance and Deputy Director of Finance, the Head of Financial Management will coordinate financial performance, planning and reporting activities and functions across the Trust. You will support the delivery of key financial targets/regulatory requirements, and as part of a collective leadership team develop the financial performance framework, leading, coordinating and directing the Trust’s financial management teams to provide excellent financial information to support the Trust in delivering our short and medium term financial plans.
The post holder will, as part of the finance leadership team, play a key role in promoting an organisational culture that actively promotes the Trust’s Vision and Values and positively engages staff, service users and other stakeholders in quality improvement and service transformation. You will work closely with colleagues from our operational services and other corporate teams to drive delivery of the Trust’s financial plan, including in terms of financial control and efficiency programmes, as well as developing close working relationships with a range of finance colleagues across the North East and North Cumbria, and Humber and North Yorkshire ICSs.
