Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to become part of leading our team in delivering the best care to women with gynaecological, female surgical and early pregnancy complications.

The role requires excellent clinical and assessment skills and is an ideal opportunity to broaden your experience in women’s health whilst leading junior team members to provide the best care as one team.

Brockham Ward consists of 13 in-patient beds caring for a wide variety of patients including women recovering from gynaecological surgery, early pregnancy complications, breast surgery and general surgical procedures/conditions.

Alongside the Ward, the nurse-led Early Pregnancy Unit assesses and manages patients experiencing complications in early pregnancy up to 16 weeks gestation. This is amalgamated with the Gynaecology Assessment Unit, which assesses gynaecological conditions within the specialist unit, to support the flow of the Emergency Department and provides specialist assessment and advice to wider primary care providers. The Sister role allows for rotation to all these areas, enhancing a wider clinical knowledge and variety to the role.

The wide multidisciplinary team offer support to develop skills, knowledge and professional development to widen your experience.
