We are looking for a compassionate, highly motivated individual who is passionate about being part of a team caring for children and families needing cancer treatment and support to join our team of Cancer Nurse Specialists. This role will co-ordinate and support the care of children, young people and their families across BWC.
The role of the Family Support Liaison Coordinator for Oncology is a patient facing role supporting all patients from the time of their diagnosis, throughout curative cancer treatment or their transition into palliative, end of life and bereavement care, ensuring the unique needs of the child and family come first. You will facilitate, empower, and enhance the patient experience through effective teamwork, working with the Cancer Nurse Specialist Team and the wider MDT. This is a unique role, which will require excellent communication skills, well developed organisational skills and an ability to be adaptive and flexible in your role to support the team, patients and families in all aspects of care delivery.
