You’ll work in one of the most progressive and innovative Informatics departments in the NHS, backed by significant multi-million pound investment. From introducing enterprise-wide Electronic Patient Records (EPR) to data warehousing and business intelligence that support the decision-making of clinical and operational staff, we’re using technology to increase organisational efficiency and improve patient health outcomes.
The Test and Change Manager will take overall responsibility for testing new software releases to applications managed by Informatics and ensuring they are ‘fit for purpose’ for the Trust.
The Test Team Manager is responsible for coordinating software releases with supplier and Trust staff ensuring the complex application landscape isn’t compromised during delivery.
This will require an understanding of the Trust processes to design appropriate test scripts, as well as significant experience of test management for large scale system deployments. The post holder will also be responsible for test audits of third-party suppliers.
The post holder will lead and facilitate all matters relating to change management. The post holder will be responsible for leading the change management requirements for Informatics Services.
The potholder will be required to communicate and arrange technical and complex change plans to senior Informatics and Clinical trust colleagues.
