We currently are lucky enough to have a band 6 vacancy across the unit and would be interested to hear from anyone who has an interest/experience in urology and are ready for the challenge of a band 6 post.

Ward 29 is our dedicated 14 bedded emergency admission ward and triage area which accepts urological referrals 24/7. We are the busiest urology admissions unit in the UK currently and are looking for dynamic individuals to assist in implementing nurse led discharge, community patient pathways and generally fulfil the role of a deputy Sister.
You must be able to work on your own initiative, be forward thinking with good prioritisation and organisational skills and have the desire to be part of an expanding nursing team who are at the forefront of ever developing Nurse-led services. Excellent communication skills are key not only to improving your patients experience but also to contribute towards effective teamwork. We are dedicated to invest our time in developing you professionally as an individual. You will have your own personal support through the specialist nurse team and consultant body in order to meet your own development needs.
