This is a unique opportunity to support the development of a new innovative pathway, working across services and organisations to play a key role in supporting Children & Young People (CYP) to access the support they need in a timely and sustainable way. We are an innovative and forward-thinking team and as such are seeking to further expand our MDT team.
Our Offer:
To provide medical input into our School Based Needs MDT and safety huddle/clinical risk management processes to enable more robust formulation and risk management within the service.
To support the initiation of medication for Children & Young People (CYP) who are engaging in treatment with SBN clinicians to enable this work to continue and avoid unnecessary referrals into CT teams.
To provide case consultation to SBN professionals to reduce unnecessary referrals into CT/specialist services and thus continuity of care for CYP and families, as well as ensure clinicians can provide risk support to schools and CYP.
To work together with the SBN teams to develop and roll out a new and innovative holistic integrated ADHD early intervention pathway, by providing medical prescription alongside school focussed interventions, as well as interface with local GPs, with the aim of supporting these YP to become settled in the school environment and then discharged under shared care to the GP.
